MAM Sudbury Update #2

Praise the Lord.

Despite the heavy rain last evening, there are more than 20 students coming to our dumplings dinner last night. Around five of them are new students, while some have come only for a few months. We have wonderful conversations and some of them show their interest in Christianity.

Please keep praying for us as we will be having another three nights of meeting.

Thank you for your support.

MAM Sudbury Update #1

Dear all, sorry for not updating for a while. As we do not have internet access at where we are staying.

But thanks the Lord, for the cottage we are staying is having a very very good environment. It was quiet, and cool. The only drawback is that we have an outhouse for our "business". However, we are now get used to it and we are very happy about what God had provided...!!!

Tuesday, I met MCBC mission team and we have combined some of our programs to provide the best interest for students. PTL, the first time I have a mission team working with another mission team. WOW... what an experience...!

Starting Wednesday, we will have meeting every night until Saturday. Please pray for us. What we mainly do are talking and cooking. So, please also pray for those who come, pray so that they can open up their heart and... their mouth and stomach...!!!

Time to go back and join the team in distrubuting the flyers, again, thank you for your prayer support. Hope to update you soon.

MAM Ann Arbor Update #3

Dear all, really thank you for your prayer support. For the past two days, we experienced a lot about the grace of God.

On Thursday, we had five visitations, all went through quite well. Not only that we had the chances to talk about the gospel to the families, but also, all of us learnt a lot from the visitations.

On Friday, thanks the Lord, that some students call in for ride to the EM. This is somewhat a surprise :P Close to evening time, suddenly the sky opened up and the rain just pouring down. We were worrying.

However, from the pick-ups till the end, its all the grace of God. Finally we have 40 people, (number is a bit down from last year), and close to ten new students came. After the meeting, most of them had discussions with our team members regarding the gospel... the SEED IS SOWN... PTL...!!!

Please pray for one man, whose family is being trouble but some sort of cult in China. Especially his sister.

Saturday night, we will have an EM in the elders apartment, please continue your support through prayers.

Thank you...!

Thanks the Lord to give us a very good weather for our afternoon campus-walk. We were still worrying this morning as it was raining poorly. However, as we are having lunch before the campus-walk, the sun began to come out. Wow...!

During the campus walk, not only that we have the chance to let those Chinese know about our EM on Friday, but also have the chance to talk to one Chinese girl and one Korean regarding the gospel, praise the Lord...!

Please keep praying for us as we have five visitations tomorrow (Thursday) with the campus walk. One visitation in the morning at 10, one in the afternoon and three at night. Please pray also for those families we are going to visit...

Can't appreciate much more for your prayer.

At the final day of our trip, there is nothing in our control, but God. Our BBQ started at 5pm. Finally more than 30 people in the BBQ and most of them stay behind for our EM. At least 6 of them are non-Christian. Thanks the Lord.

Overall this trip, although only 2 being converted, we learn a lot as a team and individually. Thank you so much for your prayer.

Niagara Falls MAM Update #4

What a fruitful day we have...!

Two arranged visitation: one said he believes there is a God, and the other one CONVERT...!

At night, we ran into a woman with a baby who is ready to move back to Toronto. She has been going to church, and please pray that she will be able to go to church when she is back to Toronto.

After that, we have a chance to knock on the door of a family which has two kids. thanks the Lord that I am teaming up with a sister who is able to take care of the two girls, otherwise, I will be in "great" trouble. Although we did not have the chance to talk much about the gosepl, she did show some interest in coming to the EM on Sunday. Please pray.

Tomorrow we have at least one scheduled visitation and the other one is pending. Please pray for the team.

Thank you!!!

A little reminder??

I attended a funeral today.

The son of the old lady is a pastor and he used the story of his own mother to make an encourage message for the funeral attendee.

I am just thinking, how should I describe my parents when they leave the world? Do I really know much about them? Do I really care them enough to understand them...?

Rev. Ching, thank you for your reminder.

Niagara Falls MAM Update #3

Thanks the Lord that a man who is a Chinese teacher here in Niagara Falls turn himself to Christ today. The downside is that his wife still not willing to accept yet. Please pray for the family.

There is also a man who rent a room in his house, and his is mixing all the religions up and create some sort of philosophy for himself. Please also pray for him.

During the door-knocking, we met a high-school girl who came only for the second month. Her mother had been going to church but not stable. Hopefully they can come for the EM this Sunday night.

Please keep praying for us.

Really thank you so much for your prayer.

Finally we come to the end of our 25 days. The training ran well, and for the second night in a row, we have some chatting session with the youth group until 12:30 after midnight.

During the session, we discuss topics like marriage, dating, God's will, prayer... etc... That chats are wonderful and the team had built up a very good relationship with the group.

Hopefully the new youth group will start up as plan... please pray.

In three hours, we will be heading to the airport for our trip back. Please pray for our safety.

Also, please pray for the following

Panama Update #6

Dear all, thank you for your prayer support.

Finally, we have come to the last three days of the trip. The training over the weekend ran well and hopefully we are sharing our best to them.

On Tuesday, we have a "day-off" and we paid a visit to the bookstore. God led us to a lady who was a Christian while ago but not attending church for a while. And fortunately, that is the only night the team without any training session, so we invite her for a dinner. The dinner comes out well and we have a wonderful chat. However, please pray for her, as she is being approached by people from Jehovah Witnesses.

Thursday and Friday will be the final two session before a visitation-packed Saturday. Please pray for the team.
