Panama Update #5

Thank you for your prayer and the Sunday EM runs very well. It drew almost 50 non-regulars and new-comers to the fellowship, with an extra 20 from the city of Colon. 10 of them raised up their hands to indicate their willingness to know more about God, 2 of them are re-dedication and 2 are Catholics. Praise the Lord, and please keep praying for them.

For myself, thanks the Lord that I still have my voice to handle the singspiration and message time. I lost my voice only after the very last song, its such a grace from God.

We will have our first training over the Alliance church on Wednesday, where the first training session of Christian church will be on Friday, please pray for us, the youth and the fellowships.

Panama Update #4 - Please pray for Sunday EM

Sunday, there is an EM for youth. It will be a drama night, with singspiration, games and message.
Please pray for us as some of us (including STM and local b/s) are getting sick. I have to lead singspiration and be the speaker tomorrow night, but my voice is getting "sexy". So, please pray for all the b/s.
Also, please pray for the new-comers, some of them may be able to come due to working hours or family issue, please pray for them so that they can come.
Also, please pray for the heart of those who come, so that they can hear the message of God.

Thank you for your prayer support.

Panama Update #3 - Task change

Thank you all for your prayer and support. Our team is having a good trip so far and most ministry work as planned.

But there is some change to our task for the set up of new fellowship. After couple days of discussion, thanks the Lord that giving us a much clear idea of what the new fellowship for university students should be. However, due to the latest development, we think that the church need more preparation time for this new fellowship. Therefore, it is not wise for us to rush this university-students fellowship. However, we willstill provide sessions for students and youth so that they can be motivated and equipped for this new movement. Please pray for all the training sessions and the future development of this new fellowship.

Yesterday we have a fruitful but busy day. We visited some families in Arraiján and La Chorrera during the day and have the opportunities to chat with different youth at night. Thanks the Lord. Please also pray for us for the visitations coming up.

Please also pray for the upcoming EM this coming Sunday. STM will help out with singspiration, games and message, pls pray for us. Please also pray for all new-comers and brothers/sisters who are coming and not. Some of them cannot come because they are working or due to family issue.

Please keep praying for us...

Panama Mission update #2

21 days left in our trip.

For the past few days, relationships were built between the students and the mission team members. Thanks the Lord the communications went well.

To continue our task of starting a new fellowship in the church, from Monday on, we will chat with different groups to understand their felt needs for the new fellowship.

After knowing the needs, we will help them to build up the fellowship by providing experience and necessary training to the students/leaders in the next two weeks.

So, please pray for us for the following...

1. 7/29 EM, all prep work re: drama, songs, promotion, message, and the most important, the heart of the new comers.
2. The guidance from God regarding this new fellowship: direction and vision, preparation, unity of brothers and sisters...
3. Health. Some local b/s is sick lately, please pray for their health.
4. Rest. Please pray for the mission team, so that they can manage to have an efficient time table to keep up their energy level.
5. Pray for the local leadership in setting up this new fellowship.
6. Mission training camp and English camp are going to take place in Panama, please pray for them.

Thank you all for your support.
